To make the most of its narrow site, the main level of each 3-bedroom unit features an open-plan with double height spaces.

Generous islands in the minimal white kitchens become prominent elements of the space, further highlighting the angular nature of the floor plan.

In these multi-level dwellings of around 1500 square feet, warm wooden stairways wrapped in black expanded metal ascend to the upper levels, punctuated by a vivid yellow bookcase where the stairway opens onto an office space, creating division from the bedrooms.

The third floor, where the master suite is contained, is segmented differently to encompass the full-width of the lot.

The 75 degree angle where the lot meets the street is echoed in the building form.

While the steel clad volumes of the upper levels make the building stand out, the first level is clad in bricks which complement the neighbourhood vernacular.
